چکیده

Objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate the stress , which caused by fixed prosthesis under oblique forces around dental implants and bone using different infrastructure materials inclusions, 3-dimensional finite element analysis method. Materials Methods: 3D models mandible, prostheses were prepared. anterior posterior designed 10 mm in length 4.3 diameter. implant was placed parallel each model. Posterior make inclinations those mesial 17, distal buccal lingual 17. Implant supported restorations divided into 3 main groups according materials. These were; chromium-cobalt, zirconia, polyetheretherketone (PEEK). In model, a total 500 N force applied from tubercle crests buccolingual direction at an angle 30 degrees long axis tooth. Maximum principal minimum values taken. addition, maximum von Mises obtained substructure Results: When findings mandible during loading evaluated, it found that stresses on cortical higher than trabecular bone. It observed highest occurred implants. Conclusions: thought chromium-cobalt zirconia-based ceramic bridge are more positive terms distribution PEEK-based restorations.

Relationship of Life Satisfaction and Satisfaction with Fixed Implant-Supported Prostheses in the Elderly

Background and Aim: The quality of dental treatment is one of the factors that affects life satisfaction in the elderly. Patients expect optimal function, esthetics, and speech from their prosthesis, while durability and technical considerations are also important for clinicians. In addition, social and psychological factors as well as costs can affect patient satisfaction. This study aimed to ...

Effects of mesiodistal inclination of implants on stress distribution in implant-supported fixed prostheses.

PURPOSE Patterns of von Mises stress values surrounding implants supporting fixed prostheses in the posterior edentulous maxilla were evaluated using 3-dimensional finite element analysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS Implants were placed in maxillary bone in 2 different configurations. In the first configuration, implants were placed in the first premolar, second premolar, and second molar regions;...

Biologically oriented preparation technique (BOPT) for implant-supported fixed prostheses

A patient of 58 years of age without medical problems came to the clinic due to missing teeth in the upper posterior region and to change the partial fixed prosthesis in the upper anterior area. Proposed treatment: surgical phase of three conical shape tapering implants with prosthetic platform in occlusal direction with mechanize collar tissue level with fixtures to place implant-supported met...

Treatment outcomes of patients with implant-supported fixed partial prostheses.

Implant and prosthesis success for 77 partially edentulous patients, provided with 97 fixed prostheses, supported by 230 Brånemark implants, in place for up to 12 years (mean 5.41 years), were documented in this study. Implant losses per location mirrored their placement, with no difference between zones I and II or between the maxilla and mandible. The implant success rate was 94%, and continu...

Prosthodontic Procedures for an Implant-Supported Maxillary Full-Arch Fixed Prosthesis Opposing Mandibular Implant- Supported Fixed Prostheses

The maxillary full-arch implant-supported fixed prosthesis represents a challenge due to the structural limitations of the existing premaxillary ridge and maxillary sinus. Prior to initiating implant treatment, it is critical to consider the necessary clinical and laboratory procedures needed to obtain an optimal level of patient and clinician satisfaction. Consideration must be given to establ...
